Dear Parents and Students,
Thank you to all for your planning, attention to detail and support for our HS students’ return to campus this week. Students have been outstanding: conscientious about safety and caring and supportive of each other. There has been joy on campus. We look forward to continuing to welcome back more students and to getting back to opportunities like in-person club and activities and access to the the gym and fitness center as soon as possible.
Repeated Announcement with RAT update: What’s different as we re-start in person on February 1st?
N95 masks are recommended and are available at the school entrances. Surgical and KN95 masks are also acceptable.
Change: Please bring negative test cartridges to school on Monday and Thursday only.
There is no need to upload photos as was expected previously. Please take the tests in the morning before school and bring the negative cartridge with you to school. Complete the ParentLocker questions. If the test is positive, inform us through ParentLocker and email ssunita@aischennai.org or call the HS Office.
Lunch and snacks will be eaten outside.
No open gym or before or after school in-person club/activities meetings. Lunch meetings must be virtual or outside.
We will move as quickly as we can to have clubs and activities meet on campus, to re-open the gym and continue to get back to in-person group meetings. We are piloting a few meetings and activities this coming week and will expand these opportunities as soon as possible.
