The week of April 19 is a five day week. As such, Wednesday will be virtual learning for all while eligible students can study on campus the remaining days of the week.
Save the Date - Second Semester Celebration of Learning
You are invited to participate in our Celebration of Learning. You will be able to choose from 18 different, 10-minute student presentations, from across our departments and grade levels. Come see our great students celebrate their learning - Wednesday, April 21, 2:30-3:30. The virtual program with Zoom links will be sent to you next week, along with a reminder.
Save the Date - Upcoming Parent Coffee
The final High School Parent Coffee of the year will be held on Tuesday, April 27th at 8:45 am. Parents have two options. First, our counselors will be hosting a conversation for Grade 12 parents about their students “leaving the nest” at the end of the school year. Second, Mr. Malone and incoming Associate Principal, Mr. Galaty, will be hosting a presentation about the upcoming MAP tests for grades 9 and 10 and how to interpret the results upon completion. Reminder - Earth Week is Coming - Repeat Announcement
AISC is celebrating Earth Week from April 19-22. This year’s theme is A Call to Action. The week will feature student projects and live presentations, zero-waste workshops, and more. We hope you will join us in celebrating student learning and activism and leave inspired to take action!
MAP testing for 9th and 10th graders - Repeat Announcement
We will be assessing 9th and 10th graders for their growth in reading, language use, math and science using the Measure of Academic Progress tests. 10th graders will be in MAP testing from home on Wednesday, April 28th, and 9th graders on Wednesday, May 12th. See the schedule and brief overview of the process here. Students will be receiving more information in grade-level MAP preparation sessions in the next two weeks.
Semester 2 Final Exam and Final Alternative Assessment Schedule - Repeat Announcement
The schedule for final exams May 28 - June 3 and alternative final assessments during revision week May 24 - 27 is here. A reminder that all students are expected to sit for their final exam at the scheduled time May 28th-June 3rd. No early exams are allowed.
