Many thanks to everyone who attended the IB Art Exhibit opening on Monday. What an impressive show! It will be up until May 15th so please do stop in and see the amazing work! Congratulations to Jisu, Seungyeon, Giulia and Saran for such an accomplishment and many thanks to Mr. Ed Doherty for his help and guidance!

High School Production - Mark Your Calendars
AISC HS Theatre proudly presents Shakespeare’s comedy, Twelfth Night. On the sun-drenched coast of Illyria, love-sick Count Orsino sends his young man-servant, Cesario, to deliver his love letters to the beautiful Olivia. That his man-servant is actually Viola, a noblewoman in disguise: that's a complication. That Viola has fallen in love with him: that's a problem. When Olivia falls in love with Cesario: that's a comedy. Please join us for Shakespeare’s hilarious Twelfth Night, a play full of mistaken identity, misplaced love, and surprising revelations. Two performances: Friday, 15 April at 7pm and Saturday, 16 April at 3pm. Tickets are 200 Rs. and go on sale the week of the show.
Grade 2 Craft Bazaar - Please Support SEVAI Initiative
Elementary Teacher Anna Van Horn has asked me to alert parents that on Wednesday, April 13th from 1:30 - 3:00 pm Grade 2 will host a craft bazaar in collaboration with Seva Samajam School in the main courtyard. Grade 2 students are producing items in collaboration with students from the school to be sold to raise funds for Seva Samajam in Taramani.Please visit and make a purchase if you can. Students are welcome to support the project too!
Save the Date - Final Parent Coffee - Repeat Announcement
The final High School Parent Coffee will take place on Tuesday, April 26th in the BBT. The entire coffee will be dedicated to reporting out on the Student Lifestyle Data and answering related questions.
At Your Request - Mindfulness for Moms - Repeat Announcement
After our parent coffee about Mindfulness for Teens, a number of moms asked if we could offer a series of mindfulness workshops for them as well. We are all too happy to oblige! Mark your calendars for April 28th, May 12th and May 19th from 8:45 - 9:15 am in the BBT. These sessions will be experiential in nature and will allow attendees to cultivate their own practice while offering the exercises to their children as well. Moms from all divisions are welcome to attend. Dads, of course, are welcome too!

Repeat Announcement
As college acceptances begin to roll in and decisions are made, it's important to look ahead to ensure that the transition to college is a successful one. Join Ms. McGlamery and Ms. Kay Clarke (parent of an AISC graduate/current college freshman) for a workshop for parents to discuss and prepare for this big change. The workshop is called: Leaving the Nest: Supporting Kids through the College Transition and it will take place on Friday, April 29th at 8:30 am in the Hall of Light.
Summer Program Information Available - From the Counseling Office
Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about how you might spend time this summer. While summer provides a great opportunity to relax and recharge, it is also a great time to participate in an activities that will enrich you in some way. Many summer programs are available around the world for students your age and any of these programs have applications that are due earlier than you might expect.
