Dear Students and Parents,
Please click here to read the latest edition of Raptorvision. Congratulations to the staff to putting out another great magazine!
Please join me in congratulating Saran de Zutter and Adrienne Hoover for bringing their Passion Projects to a close for the year this week. Both have dedicated much time, thought and action to working with a girl’s school in an effort to raise students’ awareness regarding their own reproductive health. This week they hosted the girls on campus for a celebration and closing for the project. Many thanks to Ms. Younglove, Ms. Welbes and Mr. Malone for their support as well.
Progress Update Coming Soon
Teachers will update their online grade books in preparation for the April 22nd “progress update.” Please consult Skyward after 4:00 pm on that date to see the most updated marks. As and when questions arise, please first speak with your son or daughter as they are in the best position to explain their current assignments. If more information is needed, kindly reach out to the teacher at your convenience.

Last Day for Grade 12 IB Diploma Students
Please join me in wishing our full IB Diploma students luck as they head off for their revision week before exams begin in May. Their final day of class will be Friday, April 22nd.
Study Leave for IB and AP Exams
Non IB Diploma students taking IB and AP exams in May can avail of study leave to revise and complete their examinations. There is no need to complete a form to avail of this leave but students will need to check in and out of the office when leaving campus.
Students are excused for the morning or afternoon before their examination as well as the morning or afternoon of their examination. As an exception to this system, no study leave will be granted on Friday afternoons for Monday examinations.
Here is an example of how study leave works. If a student has an IB or AP exam on Tuesday afternoon, s/he is excused from Tuesday morning to revise. Similarly, if a student has a Tuesday morning exam, s/he is excused from Monday afternoon to revise.
Any questions about the scheduling of study leave should be raised to Mr. Hicks, Ms. Basnight or Ms. Crouch.
Please note that students choosing to remain on campus during study leave are expected to behave properly and use their time wisely. Students found to not be studying during provided leave time will be required to go to class.
A Note Regarding Exams from Mr. Hicks
Spring exams are almost here! If you have not already seen the Semester 2 Exam Schedule, please check it out. Anyone who has a conflict needs to complete this survey (please do not email Mr. Jason, as it is more efficient to have all of the responses in one place.) Please complete the survey completed by April 29.
Donations Needed - Interact Club
Please support our Interact Club by donating elementary reading books in good condition. Question? Please contact the organizers at ksanhana16@aisch.org or jslakshmi@aisch.org.

The workshop is called: Leaving the Nest: Supporting Kids through the College Transition and it will take place on Friday, April 29th at 8:30 am in the Hall of Light.

Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about how you might spend time this summer. While summer provides a great opportunity to relax and recharge, it is also a great time to participate in an activities that will enrich you in some way. If you wait until April or May to plan, you might be too late. Check out the Counselor's Corner HS Summer Enrichment Programs Page on our blog for information about summer programs.
