Dear Students and Parents,
It has been a busy two weeks in high school!
First, our Celebration of Learning during Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences was a great hit. Please join me in congratulating all of the students who volunteered to present their work. Here are some pictures from the event.
Second, four incredibly well spoken young women volunteered to host a panel discussion about the IB Diploma program for interested parents. Many thanks to Aline, Priya, Suchitra and Ann Sophie.
Third, Ms. Deb and Mr. Edwin helped to host a wonderful choir concert on Tuesday. Congratulations to the HS choir as well as Sanjana K, Sanjana R, Jannick, YoonSeo and Elli who volunteered to help with accompanying the choir!
Finally, the whole high school is excited for Spring Fest today! Three cheers for student council for putting together this annual event.
Course Registration for 2016/17 - Final Reminder
A final reminder that any changes to course requests for the 2016/17 school year are due by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, March 29th. After this time no further changes to requests will be considered until the schedule is built.
Food Service Update
Beginning April 4th, the iHub and Elementary Cafeteria will be featuring new items for sale after school. Monday through Friday, the Taj Madras Flight Kitchen will be offering a variety of veg and non-veg kebabs and these choices will change daily. Also, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, veg and non-veg steamed or fried wontons will be served. The decision to serve these items came out of feedback from the parent food tasting session. We will be expanding these offerings over time to include an even wider variety of selections.
Food services at AISC are always looking for ways to improve. Should you have questions, suggestions or concerns, please contact Food Service Manager Prakash Shanmugam (sprakash@aisch.org), Elementary Associate Principal Lori Newman (nlori@aisch.org) or Secondary Associate Principal Jason Hicks (hjason@aisch.org). If you have not had the chance to have a meal in the IHub or Main Cafeteria, please join us. We would love to hear your feedback about the food at AISC.

Summer Program Information Available - From the Counseling Office
Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about how you might spend time this summer. While summer provides a great opportunity to relax and recharge, it is also a great time to participate in an activities that will enrich you in some way. Many summer programs are available around the world for students your age and any of these programs have applications that are due earlier than you might expect. If you wait until April or May to plan, you might be too late. Check out the Counselor's Corner HS Summer Enrichment Programs Page on our blog for information about summer programs.
