Dear Parents and Students,
Congratulations to all who have made it to the finish line: all AP students and all IB Y2 students, and all Seniors have completed their great work for 2021-22. By the time of next week’s newsletter, classes will have shared appreciations and goodbyes, with only final exams to go. As you know, Prom is tomorrow night. Next week is Senior Week and graduation for 12th graders and Revision Week for 9th, 10th and 11th graders (see details below). We are looking forward to a safe, successful and inspiring conclusion to our school year together!

Senior Week Activities
We spend much of next week celebrating our Seniors, during Senior Week. See the packed calendar here. If you see a senior, tell them congratulations!
Note on Revision Week
Next week, the High School has revision week, Tuesday, May 24 through Friday May 27. During revision week, classes with traditional final exams review semester learning. For classes with alternative final assessments, those papers, projects and demonstrations of learning are submitted/presented during revision week. Classes also take time to wrap up the year, celebrate and say farewell.
Repeat Announcement: Farewell Assembly FYI
Our Farewell Assembly will be held Tuesday, May 24th during Crew. This is the time that we acknowledge and celebrate all of our ‘leavers’- students and teachers who will be leaving AISC at the end of the school year. Although bittersweet, we do look forward to this important step in the transition process with the goal to end the year well.
Graduation 2022
We are happy to share that we will have our first in-person graduation in the FAC Theatre. Reserved tickets are available to graduates, their families, faculty and staff. A limited number of non-reserved tickets are available. Please drop by the HS office for non-reserved tickets.
Repeat Announcement - Request to Issue Transfer Certificate/Past Records - Seniors
Seniors will be notified via email for any outstanding books/materials to be returned back to teachers/departments.
The office will start preparing documents once all school materials and fees are accounted for. All transfer certificates/past records will be issued after Graduation on May 30th. Please email Ms. Priya at spriya@aischennai.org to confirm a convenient time for document pick-up.

Repeat Announcement: Semester 2 Final Exams and Alternative Final Assessments
The schedule for semester final exams and alternative final assessments can be found here. Final exam week is Monday, May 30 - Friday, June 3. Revision week, as noted above, is Tuesday, May 24 - Friday, May 27. If a student has an alternative final assessment due during Revision Week, they do not have a final exam in that subject during final exam week.
During exam week, students with morning exams should enter school at the regular time of 8:30 am. If students have only a morning exam, they can leave campus after finishing the morning exam. Students with only an afternoon exam may enter in the last morning, and must check in with Ms. Sunita in the HS office. Students are expected to take all exams in-person.
HS students are not obligated to attend school after their last final exam. Teachers will be present and available for any needs through 3:30 pm on Friday, June 3rd.
Semester 2 report cards will be available on Wednesday, June 8.
Have a great Prom weekend,
