On Campus Cohort Schedule for Next Week
As the week of March 8 is five days, the on-campus cohort schedule will be as follows:
Monday and Tuesday - Mango on campus, blue virtual
Wednesday - Mango and blue virtual
Thursday and Friday - Blue on campus, mango virtual
Upcoming Orientation for Students Coming to Campus the First Time
Orientation session for students coming to campus for the first time will be available next week (Monday for Mango and Thursday for Blue).
To attend orientation students must have parent permission and health forms submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled orientation. All orientations will take place from 8:15 - 8:55 am in the Madras Hall. Students should arrive on campus between 8:00 - 8:15 am.

CNN #MyFreedomDay - A Note from MUN Impact
AISC’s MUN Impact club will be participating in CNN’s #MyFreedomDay movement from March 8th to 11th. We, as MUN Impact, have a ton of activities to help spread awareness on the issue of Modern Day Slavery and to celebrate freedom. We are also working with Kranti, an organization that works to help bring girls out of the red-light district of Mumbai and become agents of change. We will be hosting a talk with them on Thursday, and we hope to see you there. Please take the opportunity to celebrate the movement with us by participating in the activity on the poster below! Semester Exam Schedule
Mr. Malone is hard at work building the exam schedule for the end of term. We hope to have the final schedule for you by the end of March.
As you plan for the summer holidays, please make note of the following exam windows. We do not give exams early, so please ensure that your departure for vacation is scheduled after the examination window closes.
Grade 12 Exams: May 20 and 21
Grade 9 - 11 Exams: May 28 - June 3
HS/MS RISE: A New Paradigm for Peace with Paul K. Chappell (March 24, 2:45 p.m.)
We’re pleased to welcome Paul K. Chappell, Peace Literacy Educator and war veteran, to join us at our annual 12th RISE on Wednesday, March 24, 2:45 p.m. Paul will talk to us about his New Paradigm for Peace, which aims to educate people to be as well-trained in waging peace as soldiers are in waging war. As Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, says: Captain Paul Chappell has given us a crucial look at war and peace from the unique perspective of a soldier, and his new ideas show us why world peace is both necessary and possible in the 21st century.

Coming Soon: Mid-Semester Reports and Student/Teacher/Parent Conferences

Mid-semester progress reports will be available online at 4:00 pm on March 31st. This report includes achievement scores for our three reporting strands (Knowledge/Understanding, Thinking/Transfer and Communication) as well as an overall score for the course. The report also include feedback on learning habits and a comment to give context to the achievement scores.
We will host second semester student/parent/teacher conferences on Monday, April 5th from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. All conferences will be virtual and, as such, all students will remain at home that day as regular classes will be suspended. The link to sign up for conference slots will be circulated via email on March 22nd with the link repeated in the Principal's Notes on March 26th and April 1st.
