Parent Coffee Follow Up and May Counseling Newsletter

Final Early Release Wednesday Cancelled

In an effort to minimize any further disruption through the end of the school year, please note that we will follow a full day schedule (B6) on Wednesday, May 15th. There will be no early release.

Additional Timetable Changes - For Your Information

Please note the following additional efforts to minimize further disruption this spring, please note the following:

Tuesday, May 7th - Assembly to meet new Discover India delayed to the fall to allow 8th-grade students to join the meeting. There will be no assembly schedule and, instead, students will follow a regular schedule.

Wednesday, May 15th - As mentioned above, we will follow a regular schedule in lieu of an early release.

Friday, May 24th - Recognition ceremony rescheduled to begin at 2:45 pm to allow for longer classes and a more efficient ceremony.

High School Concert - DATE CHANGE

The addition of a day off on May 1st disrupted the rehearsal schedule for the band and choir. As a result, their concert has shifted to Friday, May 10th, at 4:30 pm. Thank you for your flexibility!

Two Remaining School Monitored Study Sessions

Please note that there are only two remaining school monitored study sessions in which students may make up missed summative assessments and/or complete retake assessments. The session will run on May 11th and May 18th from 9:00 - 11:00 am.  Students are unable to apply for any additional retakes after the May 18th session.

Summer Programs

Please note that for the remainder of the year we will share this link to summer programs at the end the Principal’s Notes. If you have any questions about whether or not a summer program makes sense to pursue, please contact one of our counselors. Additional programs and resources will be added to this list as vendors contact us.
