Please join me in congratulating the students we honored last Friday at our annual recognition ceremony:
Recognition for Courage and Confidence goes to a student who is willing to challenge him/herself both inside and outside of the classroom. This student is open to new ideas and moves into the unknown. This student take risks, is resilient and advocates for what he/she believes in.
Namrata Ashok, Nina Kumar, Ethan Woodhouse and Liam Eldred
Recognition for Creativity goes to a student who uses his/her knowledge, imagination and inquiry to produce new insights, products or solutions. This student is inspired to explore and expand boundaries both inside and outside of the classroom.
Anjana Ganesh, Adi Daryn, Anu Bisht, Jannick Frampton
Recognition for Compassion goes to a student who actively cares for others and the world around him/her, showing initiative, independence and responsibility in improving the lives of others. This student celebrates uniqueness and diversity while giving support or voice to those who are voiceless.
Advika Srinivasan, Asuka Hayashi, Kavya Gopinath, Adrienne Hoover
Recognition for International Mindedness goes to a student who respects and values others while demonstrating a strong understanding of his/her own cultural identity. This student actively seeks to learn about local, national and global issues, shows empathy for all and cares for the world.

The Salutatorian and Valedictorian of the graduating class are the students who demonstrate the highest standards of scholarship, leadership, character and service. The determination of the Salutatorian and Valedictorian occurs after the mid-semester progress report in the spring of grade 12. Only students who have attended AISC for both 11th and 12th grade are eligible for this academic honor.

Expectations for Students During Exam Week (May 29th - June 1st) - Repeat Announcement
Students are only expected to be on campus for their examinations during exam week. We will allow students to come and go as needed without parental permission unless a parent contacts the office indicating that a student should not be allowed to leave.
Students choosing to study on campus are expected to do so quietly and respectfully. The High School CIC will be a quiet zone during exam week while students can socialize in the iHub and HS Commons.
Departure Paperwork and End of Year Report Cards - Repeat Announcement
All documentation from the 2016/17 school year will be completed by Tuesday, June 6th. Families needing transfer documentation, transcripts or printed report cards are welcome to come to the office at this time to collect them. Families interested in viewing a final report card online are able to log into Skyward on June 6th as well.
Health Forms for 17/18 - A Message from the Health Office
