Congratulations Seniors! They had their last
official day of school on Wednesday and concluded their internal exams today.
Senior Week begins Monday.
Congratulations to the newly elected National
Honor Society leadership: Sanjana Kumar (President), Harin Jeong (Vice
President), Aafia Sait (Treasurer) and Celia Malone (Secretary).
Congratulations to our Vision
for an AISC Learner departmental honorees! Each semester the faculty of each
department choose one student from each grade level that best exemplifies all
of the attributes of the Vision through the lens of the academic classroom.
This past Tuesday the honors were shared with students at our weekly assembly.

Behavior on Campus - A Reminder
As you know, once a student takes his or her
AP or IB exam, that course is officially over and the block in the student’s
timetable becomes a free block. With the addition of these free blocks comes
the responsibility to act appropriately on campus.
Students in grades 9 - 11 with free blocks are
still expected to be on campus from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm unless they have
arranged an exception with the approval of both his/her parents Mr. Malone.
When students have a free block they are welcome in the following locations:
- Study rooms
between classrooms - for silent study so as to not disrupt class
- High School CIC
- for quiet or silent study
- High School
Conference Room - for quiet study as available
- Media Center or
Breezeway Conference Room - for quiet study with permission from Mr.
Jacobson
- High School
Commons - for socializing and group study
- iHub - for
socializing and group study
We ask students to respect the needs of others
by controlling their noise level and monitoring their behavior such that it
meets the expectation of the spaces they are using. Students who disrupt the
study of others will be given a warning and, then, sent to the High School
Office.
