Announcing Senior Class College Night - A Message from the Counseling Department
Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! It is especially great to see our Seniors on campus and we are looking forward to working closely with them this year.
This is likely a time of excitement and nerves for you as your child is beginning his/her last year of high school. We will be hosting a SENIOR CLASS COLLEGE NIGHT meeting with the seniors (grade 12) and their parents on August 22nd to share information about the college process and what to expect this year in regards to college applications.
We will begin meeting individually with our seniors after that meeting to touch base about summer, college process, etc.. We are hoping those meetings will help each student to start the year with a feeling of confidence and knowledge of next steps.
For many of you the August 22nd meeting may be a review of what we went over in the Spring. It will be a good time to come together, kick off the year and we will answer lots of questions. This is also a great opportunity for students/parents who worked with Ms. Larsen to meet our new counselor, Mr. Laposky.
We hope you can join us on TUESDAY, August 22nd in the new MADRAS HALL at 6:00pm. We look forward to seeing you. Here's to a great year!
